ABOUT JILL GREENBAUM
I
entered the field of personal development over twenty five years
ago with a Bachelor's degree in psychology, teaching students with
special educational needs.
Since then I have attained a Master of Science in special education
at Bank Street College of Education, and a doctorate in curriculum
development from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Early in my career I became a principal and administrator in educational
settings. While working in the field of education I was also the
volunteer director of a county non-profit program, and after several
years of such work I became the director of the program. Several
years later I wrote the grants and was hired as the director of
a statewide nonprofit agency.
Over
seven years ago I used my academic and professional experiences
to start my own consulting firm. I work as a consultant for corporate,
government, nonprofit, and education clients, primarily in the areas
of training/professional development. My work has focused on instructional
design and training delivery in the areas of leadership, coaching,
communication, conflict resolution, Accelerated Learning, diversity
and discrimination, and providing additional customized professional
development solutions for individuals and groups. Clients of the
past few years have included Gilead Sciences, Elsevier Inc., the
Rutgers University Office Of Harassment Compliance, the New Jersey
Juvenile Justice Commission, various departments within The Fashion
Institute of Technology, Chase Card Member Services, Fortune Franchise
Corporation, BATCO, TBS, Inc./Turner Broadcasting Sales, Inc., Alumax
Extrusions, Inc., SunTrust Mortgage Co., and the Englewood, New
Jersey public school system. I have also designed and delivered
both internal and external training programs for the American Management
Association. I have written over a dozen customized training programs,
trained over 5,000 learners, and authored the article, "Shifting
to Accelerated Learning" published by American Management Association.
Coaching,
my newest passion, represents a return to a more personal touch
to my work. I coach individuals, teams in work environments, and
form groups of similarly focused individuals, who are excited about
creating new opportunities in their lives, facing change or transitions,
and those seeking support in reaching their goals.
